music was the first consistent source of
joy that I had in life where I realized
there was this phenomenon this thing it
wasn't a person it wasn't a place it
wasn't even necessarily an activity it
was just
experience the sound of these melodies
and rhythms that could change the
way I
felt and make life feel better and not
in a wispy kind of subtle way in a very
intense instant way and it would do it
every single time nothing else in my
life then or since has been that
consistent
